Effective Date: June 11, 2026 | Last Updated: June 11, 2026
Adaley Inc. ("Adaley," "we," "us," or "our") is a California-based provider of Regional Center services operating under the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act. We are committed to protecting the privacy of the individuals, families, and visitors we serve. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit www.adaleyinc.com (the "Site") or interact with us in connection with our services.
Please read this policy carefully. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

2. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: directly from you and automatically through your use of the Site.

- Contact and inquiry information: Name, phone number, email address, and any details you include when reaching out to us through the Site's contact section or by email or phone.
- Service-related information: Information about the individual seeking services, the relevant Regional Center, service needs, and family circumstances — provided voluntarily when you contact us about services.
- Sensitive information (service context only): Because we serve individuals with developmental disabilities, information you share with us may include health-related details, disability status, or information about minor dependents. We collect this only as necessary to evaluate and provide Regional Center services, and we handle it with heightened care as described in Section 5.

- Pages visited, time spent on pages, and navigation path
- Referring URL (how you arrived at the Site)
- Date and time of visit
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7)
c. Information from Third Parties
We do not purchase or broker personal information from third-party data brokers. We may receive information about you if a Regional Center, support coordinator, or other service professional refers you to us or communicates with us on your behalf.

4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Regional Centers and DDS: As necessary to establish vendorization, authorize services, and fulfill our obligations under the Lanterman Act and applicable DDS regulations.
- Service providers: Third-party vendors who support our operations (e.g., Squarespace for website hosting, payroll processors, HR compliance platforms). These vendors are contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to us.
- Support coordinators and authorized representatives: With your knowledge and consent, or as necessary to coordinate your care.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or government mandate, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Adaley, our clients, or the public.

5. Sensitive Personal Information
In the course of providing Regional Center services, we may collect information that qualifies as "sensitive personal information" under the CPRA, including health and medical information, disability status, and — where services involve minors — information about children under 16.
We use sensitive personal information only for the following purposes:
- To perform services you have requested or that are reasonably expected in the context of our service relationship
- To comply with state and federal legal obligations, including DDS and Regional Center requirements
- To ensure the safety of the individuals we serve
We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics unrelated to the provision of services, and we do not sell or share it for advertising purposes.
Note regarding HIPAA: Depending on the nature of the health information involved and our relationship with your Regional Center, some information may also be protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Where HIPAA applies, we comply with its requirements in addition to those of California law. If you have questions about HIPAA protections, please contact us directly.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to maintain our service relationship with you, and to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations — including those imposed by the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS), the California Regional Center system, and applicable employment and tax laws.
When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it in accordance with our internal data retention schedule.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site is hosted on Squarespace, which uses cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the website. Cookies are small text files stored on your device.

8. Children's Privacy
Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. In the context of our Regional Center services, we may collect information about minor clients (children with developmental disabilities) only as necessary to arrange and deliver authorized services, with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately at contact@adaleyinc.com.
